The Foundation held its first formal event to launch Sefydliad Lowri Pugh (The Lowri Pugh Foundation) in October 2014. It was attended by 80 guests.
Nest Williams, a close friend and colleague of Lowri, was a superb MC for the luncheon. There was also an opportunity for Clare Boobier to give an up to date report of the work being done at Velindre with the research which the Foundation is supporting.
Heather Jones provided a musical interlude by singing some Folk/Modern music which she does so well! The guest speaker, who very kindly agreed to support us, was Roy Noble. Roy provided the after lunch entertainment, which everyone enjoyed so much.
